When thinking about this review I get quite emotional. We took the plunge 3 years a go after a bad experience at another medical centre. In the middle of my husband recovering from pneumonia we changed doctors. The treatment my husband got at this time was amazing and it helped him recover. This included rethinking his asthma medications which in turn has improved his way of life. We will always be grateful for how they listened and helped my husband. The thing I like the best is that there is no clock watching. If you need extra time in the appointment they listen and respond . They always made sure they know your basic history before you walk in. The reception staff are very friendly and knowledgable. I also like the fact we can ring at 8am every day and can get an appointment. The only thing I don't like is that sometimes you need to ring a hundred times before the engaged tone isn't heard. But you get an appointment so it's just one of those things you need to do. I am very happy with this medical centre. | ||||||

20 years I have attended this surgery and have always been faced with not getting appointments, ending up at A and E with things a doctor could deal with. Yesterday I rang for an appointment at 10.20, told the receptionist it was urgent and I was given one for 4.20. This shocked me as previously we could only ring at 8am and usually there were no appointments left by the time you got through. The doctors in the surgery have always been amazing, I am quite happy to see any of them. They have a booking procedure booklet in reception now and you can ask for telephone appointments too. I hope this is the way forward for the surgery as it has been a long time coming! | ||||||
