Waste of time. Absolute disgrace. |

I think all surgeries are probably the same. Tried to ring for a repeat prescription and there was no prescription line available. You have to listen to a list of instructions for anything. The lines ring for ages before you get through, or you have to wait un line forever before you speak to a human. Whatever happened to ringing, hearing a ring tone, then someone (not a machine) answers and you try and book an appointment. Automated services help no-one but the staff. As for getting an appointment - the Dr's would sooner let anthrax pass their threshold before they'd let a patient through. Lost all respect for GP's. They couldn't care less. Even now there's so many restrictions. Just read another review and a mum of 3 is constantly sent to Hadrian Road, which is not easy to get to. No thought to the poor woman and her predicament. |

There's a plethora of sifting and fielding systems that must take many person hours to develop and maintain, and it's exhausting to use. It's counter productive. I wanted to speak to the practice manager, to solve an ongoing problem that would help not only myself, but staff, but it's become such a project to try to get an appointment to speak to them, I'm exhausted by it and wondering why I'm bothering. I can't simply leave an e-mail to ask for an appointment, because, even in this day and age, the practice hasn't got an e-mail! |
