My Dad has recently passed away and my Mam passed away 9 years ago. They were both patients at Hillsview Surgery and I can’t fault the care and attention they received from the doctors and staff. It was always second to none. Prompt proactive and caring. Thank you all.

am with hills view surgery which is part of Cruddas Park Last week I kept trying to phone the surgery to speak to a doctor. My temperature was 39.1 so I admit I did not make so much sense. During the first phone call I was asked to call back at 8.30am the next day. The second phone call was the usual woman who kept asking me to repeat myself, which is usual for her. I explained I could not get to speak to anyone and called 111 who sent an ambulance out to me because I could not breathe and I was in a lot of discomfort all over my body. It was then I tested positive for Covid. I was a bit relieved because I did not know what was wrong with me. I got some medication and began to rest. I live on my own and by the middle of the week I knew I was dehydrated because I was being sick, I had the runs, couldn’t stop coughing and I could not eat anything even if I could have made it down the stairs. The Friday just gone I tried calling the doctor again to ask to speak to a doctor because I needed some medication to get me through this. My temperature was up and down but mostly going down but the dizziness was horrendous. A doctor called me back and told me she has put a prescription through to my chemist and it would be delivered. By 7.00pm nothing had appeared. At 5.30 am I called 111 again and explained I needed some medication to help me. She insisted on sending an ambulance. I told her I don’t think I needed an ambulance just some medication. She then asked me if I was refusing the ambulance I said no so one came. When the medics arrived I explained the whole situation and told them I just need some medication to help me with all these symptoms. They were lovely and offered to stay here until the Chemist opened. They said that maybe they did not have time to deliver it yesterday. I reassured the medics I would call the chemist at 9.00am when it opened which I did. The chemist told me the doctor had not put an order in for me. She refreshed her system and double checked and then she said they do not deliver on Saturdays anyway I tried to call the doctor but it is the same messages and the same process which will not get me anywhere. I have no choice now but to sit here on my bed until Monday morning when I will have to go through it all again with the receptionist at Hillsview where there is a more than likely chance she will say what she has to say and simply hang up

Following on from my message below. I have also repeatedly told the surgery I cannot stop bleeding although I finished the menopause nearly 15 years ago. I have two carrier bags full of sanitary towels I am trying to keep sealed, I cannot get out of bed fast enough and I cannot get to the dustbin. No one at all is listening to me. I am going to try to sleep down and wait for Monday I am not trying to blame anyone. I am sure when the doctors went in to train they had the best interests of the patients at heart. I do however blame the continuing constraints put upon them for such a terrible service and complete lack of care
