Whenever I phone it usually takes me about 20 times before I even get through to the recorded message, then you have to wait in a queue for an appointment. Reception staff always seem very impatient and can be quite rude. I am a teacher and find it very difficult to get time out of work for appointments but yet they do not seem to understand this at all. Phoned for an appointment and the soonest I can get is two weeks time. |

I would like to express my gratitude to Bishops Close practice. Thank you for your services over the years. Always professional with the personal touch. This week I have been reassured from one particular doctor after seeing him with a bleeding mole. He has explained what this type of mole is and sent details via a photograph to a local dermatologist for analysis. Always a service with a smile while working under great demands. |

I was offered an NHS health check by the nurse who administered my injection and reception offered me a suitable date and time which was convenient . I attended and a full holistic review of family history , my risks , exercise , diet, alcohol and smoking etc etc were discussed . Blood sampling was taken and other clinical tasks were all completed in one consultation . A week later I was contacted , again at my convenience to discuss the results . All undertaken with professionalism . I felt reassured that the information provided and guided me on a few changes I need to make . Thank you for all the help. The NHS is a service under so much pressure yet I was given help to take accountability for my health . |
