Very poor service reception insist they want to no what wrong with you . Appointments come few and far between when you phone at 8 o clock for an appointment it takes 65 phone calls to get though and when you do get though they will book you in to see a nurse and not a doctor that u asked to see and not tell you meaning it was a pointless appointment or they say you can't see a doctor because he has to phone you first this place is getting beyond a joke and im seriously considering move from this place iv been in since birth |

Been suffering really badly for best part of 10 months, took 2 months initially to get appointment and lucky if you can get one now. You ring they tell you can't make an appointment unless you ring at 8am. Then they book doctor to ring who doesn't bother getting back in touch. You then get a warning Ng because you are so I'll you can't get to doctors on Christmas Eve but no-one answers phone! I have had more luck speaking to my consultants secretary than getting doctor's appointment to sort out inaccurate medication they prescribed!!!! The receiptionist is useless. I have been Registered with this surgery for Since I was 11-12 I’m now 25. Overall I’d say the staff are pleasant and friendly however, if you would like an appointment to see someone then you must ring at exactly 8am but 9/10 out of ten the line is engaged and you are unable to get through. If you are lucky enough to get through, there is absolutely no thought give to if the person on the other end of the line is vulnerable. Both my self and fiancé have struggled massively with our mental health over the pandemic and there has been little support from are gp other than to put us on some medication and ask us what we want to do with it? I’m sorry but you guys are meant to be the professionals the experts I’m a landscaper? what do I know about taking medication? I have also had a reoccurring issue with my stomach that I’ve been living with since the age of 12-13 and I’m at my wits end trying to get the Doctors to figure it out but the is little to no interest. I genuinely appreciate that the GP surgeries up and down the country have been pressed to the limit with the current climate. This however does not excuse the flaws in customer care and consideration. The booking system that the trust uses is a one of chaos and works on a first come first serve basis. Which has left the GP surgery’s in and around the Bishop Auckland area seeming uncaring and cold. |
