I’m sure those that have voiced their disgruntled opinions are very upset. However , May I just say , I am a patient of Woodlands for around 40odd Years. In that time I’ve had a few issues.. however over the period of my time dealing with Woodlands in the main I have found the GP practice to be efficient , helpful and experienced in dealing with usc( the public) i am currently managing a number of medical issues ( ie : Parkinson’s / Diabetes T2 ). It’s always a pleasure if I have to go to the surgery .. the receptionist are always there to help, and despite the stress of being a patient waiting to talk to a receptionist ; We , as the patients need to recognise that the people who work in the GP surgery are dedicated to be of help to the patients.. indeed in particular I wish to put on record the help I receive when visiting the Phlebotomy lady I am always grateful for her support/ kindness / and those little extra support advice and physical jelp help she has given me ..In conclusion , please recognise that we have an excellent team of experts and talented professionals that are doing a grand job , under currently demanding and increasing difficulties with budget restrictions/ covid / budget constraints. And just to top it off; who knows what the next pandemic may be watching and waiting to create further demands on the people who ate working extremely hard , just to keep us as the public fully informed about what is happening.. These people are there to support the excellent work being carried out every day by the medical staff . They deserve our patience and understanding. ,Many thanks to the team of our amazing professionals who have helped to create a first class medical GP surgery. I’m not so much wearing rose coloured glass , but rather that the GP teams are doing a fine job with human frealties. Funny that , as for me as a fellow human . I’m in the same club. ?????? |

On hold 1 hr 10 mins receptionist not very helpfully. Nurse practioner had requested I telephone rather than visit. No appointments available asked to call back tomorrow ( nooooo) asked to send emails but unable to confirm when the nurse is working. Very disappointed and very expensive call with no outcome. Suggested would be when asked to call rather than visit they arrange time and date and call the client. This would stop unnecessary time and cost. |
