Been with them less than a year and NEVER been able to see a doctor, always fobbed off with a nurse. I hardly ever ring because of this. The nurses are nice enough but can only answer so much, its not the same as seeing a doctor but..... I spent 9 hours in A and E last Monday with a suspected slipped disc. Hospital advised I ask my GP for additional pain relief, I explained the problems I have with regards to the surgery but he said it was down to my GP. Rang 4 times on Tuesday to be told a GP would ring, then it had been passed to a prescription person. At this time I am unable to get out of bed unaided, I rang twice again yesterday, still not been looked at then. I rang again and said I would call 111 back and was told that was my prerogative like I was in the wrong. I am desparate for help. NO ONE has spoken to me at this point regarding the pain so how can they make that call without speaking to me? I got a text at 8am this morning saying I just had to take what I had because no one wants to actually speak to you, that is evident in the length of time it takes to answer the phone, I believe the record so far is 13 minutes on hold. I rang 111 last night who made a telephone appt for today which was ignored, I rang to ask when I would have my appt and was told it would be put across as urgent again. Again I have received a text message saying they won't issue pain meds. WHY is no one actually speaking to me? Why would I lie about being in so much pain? I am not a drug addict, I rarely take pain meds, I have bought what I can online and nothing is helping with the spasms but trying to speak to a GP at this surgery is like trying to speak to God. You'd have more chance going to a church and asking him for pain relief. I mean, how bad do you have to be to be considered worthy of a call from a GP? Even one thats been arranged by another medical service (111) When did surgery staff become so psychic that they can make a call on your health without actually speaking to you? It's like a fascist state where they are telling you what is good for you without even knowing or seeing you. I was advised at the hospital to try and keep mobile, how? I am in so much pain everytime I move the wrong way? They are quite possibly the worse GP in Denton. I should have taken heed from the reviews and listened to people when they said not to join here. The one star rating is for the one person who was actually nice to me on the phone and did what she said she would do, not that it got me any pain meds, otherwise I would prefer to give a 'no star' review. Not to mention taking a month to get a repeat prescription, I will transfer as soon as possible to a new one and hope for the best. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

Systems are all on line that would be ok if they weren't temporary unavailable like every time I go on! Thank god for Rizwan the chemist that man really is the NHS now.
