Recieved a text saying please be patient as we have no GP's! To be honest i would not notice a difference as there are no appointments anyway!
All the decent staff are leaving, Argyle Street is a unwelcoming dump of a surgery, it looks like a second hand bookshop as you walk in - Yuck!
York House was the best surgery in Heywood, Care Compassion and great GP's, and it still is to a certain point, but all patients are seen at Argyle Dump!
Please go back to a single practice, and put the patients first again, bring back our caring receptionists, Phlebotomist and Admin team! Our fab PN, who always greets with a smile! Please for the sake of your loyal patients bring back York House and leave Heywood Health and the dump behind and be great again!! PLEASE!! |

I feel like most times I call for an appointment I'm told cannot book appointments and the daily ones are full. I feel like It's always an up hill struggle when I need to call and I put it off as long as I can. I called on 25/07 was told no appointments left then rudely told there are walk in centres I can go to when I cannot get in to see a doctor. I called back later and booked a phone appointment with a doctor, I thought I had an infection in my gut & needed antibiotics as the symptoms I had were the same as I had when on holiday last year & the doctor prescribed antibiotics and I was fine after I had finished the course. The doctor would not give me antibiotics on the phone he prescribed omeprazole to be collected from the chemist the day after, he then called me back 5 mins later told me to go to A & E as my symptoms may be cardiac issues. After 3 hours in A & E no issue found. 26/07 went for a scan on my shoulder was told to make appointment in 1 week with doctor for result, called 1 week later told should not have been told that they will request results then when the doctor has seen results a decision will be made on how urgent appointment is to see the doctor and someone would call me.... I am still waiting with a painful shoulder and still struggling with my stomach nobody has been in contact with me. I am going to see about going to a different doctors in future I really feel let down, it seems if you work you cannot get to see or speak to a doctor without an argument with a receptionist 1st and I really don't need that when I'm not feeling well. |
