This surgery went from gold standard to base metal within a few years. I noticed a subtle decline but now there’s nothing subtle about it. As far as I’m concerned they’ve cut their patients loose to cope on their own with whatever health problem life may throw at them. I know they blame covid, but the decline in this surgery’s standard goes beyond and before covid. I no longer know why they’re even there. It’s certainly not to care for people who are registered with them as patients. I’m beginning to wonder if it’s in the process of being Americanised. I noticed the original doctors who had been at this practice in its early days have all left. I thought it was because they were retiring, but now I think they didn’t like or agree with direction the practice they loved. established and took pride in was heading i.e. downwards. |

Worst gp ever!!!! I've moved and so has my mum, staff are rude you can never get an appointment why is this place even open???... Not even worth 1 star one joke of a place! Get the old staff back and when Dr unwin back. Receptionist sat there with eyelashes as long as, full of make up, no uniform on, cropped top, long pointy nails just not professional at all. Good bye princess road surgery you are a total waste of my time. |

Avoid this surgery at all costs. 0 Stars isn't an option. I don't even know where to start with the level of incompetence displayed at this surgery. Just a few things that have happened in the past few months I have highlighted below. I ordered a repeat prescription for an ointment, I provided the exact name. They prescribed me a cream, completely different texture and not what I needed. Wasted 9.00 on a prescription. How hard is it to check what I had been prescribed previously, common sense and logic is not part of their strengths here. Spoke to a doctor about my daughter having a cough, she wanted to prescribe antibiotics without even seeing her. She was going to prescribe on the basis I (not a qualified medical practitioner) said her tonsils were swollen. Almost three weeks later she still has a cough. We did manage to get an appointment for an Asthma check for my daughter. (Read below) My wife had a call about a skin condition on her hand. Without a video call, pictures or anything a cream was prescribed which has done absolutely nothing. Three months on we still have no resolution to her skin issues and getting an appointment to be seen is near enough impossible. My daughter's Asthma check test. We came at the alloted time to be seen by a nurse for them to check to see if my daughter has asthma. After waiting fifteen minutes I ask how long it will be? I am told that the person we are booked in with doesn't work on Fridays and they are now trying to see if someone else can see her. It was one hour before we were seen by a doctor. He couldn't conduct the required Spirometer test but prescribed the brown inhaler and said she may have Asthma even though she doesn't have a wheeze on her chest. How are doctor's able to conduct themselves in such a poor manner? When has it been acceptable for a profession which is so highly regarded, to have been run with such incompetence and lack of care. I don't know if it's just this surgery in particular of if this is issue that affects others, but it's unacceptable and covid is no longer a valid excuse. I am going to be highlighting my concerns about this surgery to the CQC and to my local MP. Doctors are supposed to care, it feels like these doctors here don't care at all and are passing their time until retirement. Have some self respect and give the people at your surgery a better service because frankly, it's a disgrace and every single one of you should be ashamed of yourselves. If you can't be bothered to provide a decent level of care to your patients, you should rethink your career options. If the government is restricting you then challenge the rhetoric and do what's right by your patients. Fix your surgery before people abandon it and it ends up closed. We will most certainly be leaving this awful place and I advise every other patient to do the same. |
