I rang on Christmas Eve with my symptoms . I was told a nurse would ring back,which she did quite soon. I was told to bring a urine sample in as soon as I could. The nurse rang me back again quite soon after saying I had an infection and she would ring through to the pharmacy of my choice,where I could collect it. She was at all times kind, concerned, courteous and friendly. I was with Harrowside Surgery before the merge and although it can be difficult to get an appointment with my doctor of choice the other doctors have all been very helpful and satisfactory. |

Lovely staff and nurses and doctors but the prescription lady needs a training course on how to talk to patients on the telephone she is damn right rude and she's lucky she put phone down or she would of been told |

As a long term patient of Harrowside surgery, which was very good and I could always get an appointment within a few days, I am very disappointed by the result of the merger with Stonyhill surgery. While I understand that all GP practices are very stretched nowadays, underfunded and understaffed, Stonyhill is really struggling. About six weeks ago I checked the app for available appointments, and it offered me just two, both about four weeks ahead. I rang the receptionist to ask if they had anything sooner, or if I could see their pharmacist, as I wanted to discuss reducing my antidepressant dose, but I was told that unless it was an urgent matter, there was nothing available. I think the staff are mostly trying their best but I'm very disappointed with the service and am considering moving to another surgery if I can. |
