If doctors were paid for every patient they saw face to face instead of the number of patients enrolled at the surgery then you would see s rapid improvement in number of appointments and patients seen and a fall in the waiting list. I have said in my previous review that if 86% of patients think the sevice is poor or terrible why have the people in charge not made changes to a booking system not fit for purpose? So far I have had no response.

I have been with Oakham surgery for 45 years. It used to be a well run and caring family doctors practice. It now provides a terrible service where you dread being ill and and have to phone. The appointment system is appalling and not fit for purpose, the staff are rude and unhelpful and it would be easier to make an appointment with the Pope than see a doctor. Surely the surgery must see the reviews where 86% of patients say that the service is poor or terrible. But they obviously don't care as long as they receive their salaries. The next thing is that they will be going on strike for more money. Please changed the system so that people can see a fully trained doctor face to face and release the pressure on A&E

I have tryed to for weeks to see a Doctor as I have to make an appointment for my medication to be reviewed as well as haveing tingling in my fingers pain in my rists Pain in my right arm at the top which I have had for three months in my left arm I have tingling in my fingers pain in in my rist and and I have a clinking in my finger my hands feels as if they are swollen when I clench them but they are woes in the night my right foot I get a pain on the top of my foot as well as they seyse up but how can you get in when you call or do it on line where do all the appointments go as they open at 8.00am and in a few minutes they have now moor appointments
