Firstly, having been with the GP for around 10 years, I can care to say that The Slieve is an excellent GP. The doctors in particular are always helpful and show great care and consideration towards their patients. They've demonstrated this to me on several occasions for my health related problems. They are also quick to advise you on blood test results or urine results and this is especially helpful when you are not feeling very well.
Also, the receptionists will always help you find an appointment very quickly and urgently. Sometimes when you need to see a doctor quickly, they can manage to fit you in most of the time - which is very good on their behalf and without that, I wouldn't have managed to feel much better so quickly.
Finally, the GP surgery itself is very clean and safe, where the interior is kept minimal and how a GP should be. It feels very modern inside and the onsite parking is of course a bonus for those with cars. It has easy access and the GP is easily spotted. For those considering to sign up to this GP, I would highly recommend it.
A GP surgery tends to be very busy, especially at peak times - however, the service is very quick and the doctors never tend to rush your appointment to see the next person, which you would expect from many other practices. Even after seeing the doctor, if you are prescribed something, their electronic service that sends off electronic versions of a normal paper prescriptions is very quick and the various pharmacies that are situated near the GP will receive this near immediately and you can pick this up with ease - especially when it is urgent. The option to select an appointment online is also very good and now makes any visits much more efficient. This GP has everything you could possibly need, so I would definitely recommend it to all living near the area. It is definitely highly regarded and you can see that from the ratings and reviews it receives. | ||||||
