Im supposed to be on a repeat prescription, however since moving GPs in November I couldn't continue with the repeat until i had a review appointment at this surgery due to just registering which i understand is standard procedure. However, we are now in MAY and i still haven't managed to receive my repeat. It took 4 months initially to even get an appointment. Despite phoning up most mornings right on when they open, by the time i get through they are out of appointments and tell me to just phone up the next day. Once i finally got an appointment, 4 months after registering, they wouldn't put me back on to my repeat as they still hadn't got my records from my previous doctors despite the time period already of being there and i couldn't prove there and then that i was on this medication. I do have a previous empty box to show as proof, however once again im struggling to get an appointment. I have severe pain in my legs and struggling to walk however no matter how early i phone or what time i phone up i just can not get an appointment, I think its awful that ive been left this long without my medication and that i cant even get an appointment to sort out other quite severe issues. Im having to phone 111 whenever i get too bad and having to get seen at a hospital which is not ideal because its impossible to get an appointment here. |

everytime I visit for either myself or son, the staff are courteous, understanding and kind. Their clinical judgement is always spot on. I am listened to. Despite pressures on the NHS they seem to always make us feel better. Thankyou - especially to the doctors and nurses who vaccinated my son. |
