    After phoning 82 times and getting through for an appointment, I was told the doctor would phone me back for a consultation later on .At about 08.28 I received an email saying I had an Appointment booked for 11:00. On arriving at the surgery and say I had a appointment at 11:00 and showing them the email , I was told it was not a appointment but a call back.on arriving back home I missed 2 calls on my land line , and eventually at 11:30 I had a call back.If you are sending emails out for call backs you need to state it’s for call backs and not appointments

    Busy life, never enough time, and you don't want to waste NHS time but you must get your health sorted. You can save a lot of time and appointments by asking what you need to do before seeing a GP/nurse face to face. Staff are very helpful and accommodating.

    Absolutely disgusted with the lack of service that is currently being provided by the doctors surgery at Hazelwood Group Practice, 27 Parkfield Road, Coleshill, Warwickshire. I have recently tried to call to make an appointment, to be told I was in a queue, to which I was number 9. This call was started at 4.05pm and gradually I progressed towards NO 1. However, after waiting for almost an hour to be answered , I was then informed that the surgery was NOW CLOSED and to call back the following day after 8.00am. I again called the surgery the following day to be told that there was in fact no appointments for 4 wks as they have all been booked on-line. I was then informed a doctor could call. The doctor did indeed call, but due to driving I was unable to answer and again called the surgery back. I was then informed that I would need to call again the following morning to make another appointment. What a considerable waste of time. Today 24/07/19, I have attempted to call but was informed via answer machine that the surgery was closed until 2pm. Having managed to get through at 2.15pm, the call was answered, I was informed by the receptionist that there was no doctors on site as they were closed so could I call back tomorrow. I have explained that their message does not state this and I've been again kept on hold. Completely undeterred by this, the receptionist stated that they normally close every forth week. Again this is not mentioned on any message. By coincidence, my husband was at the doctors, waiting for it to open at 2pm ( as stated by the message). He, along with roughly six other people were informed that they do not open on Wednesdays and was all sent on their way. I find the service absolutely disgusting and quite honestly, degrading. I have now been trying to get an appointment for a number of weeks. I am now at my wits end, the whole experience is becoming extremely frustrating and tedious. I can see why the hospitals get blocked up with seemly small issues. Quite clearly, the system they have implemented is just not working.
