We moved from Derby 18 months ago and I and my family including my 84 yr old Dad are really pleased with our experiences at this surgery .Phone calls back always in appropriate time often the same day. Drs and pharmacist always friendly and helpful. and take time to listen even though very busy .Receptionists also very helpful.and friendly |

I transferred to Barton Practice as I was not happy with my previous doctor’s Surgery. I have, in the main , received very good care. Sometimes excellent care- depending on the doctor I have seen. The practice nurses have given care of an exceptionally high quality. It is not always easy to get an appointment when needed. And whilst waiting to see a health professional, you have to endure a noisy radio in the waiting room , blaring out pop music- not what you need when feeling unwell. The facility itself is good and parking is plentiful. The reception staff are kind and helpful. I am sorry that the radio music has caused you upset and that you found that is was blaring out on your visit to the surgery. We do play music in the waiting room, usually at a moderate volume, to help with confidentiality on the front reception desk. If you do ever feel that it is too loud please feel free to let the reception team know, as we would then be able to turn the volume down. We certainly try to make sure it is not disruptive to patients as many patients do enjoy the back ground music, however, if you felt it was blaring we would address that for you. As a visitor to this surgery to renew a permanent prescription. I called into surgery spoke to receptionist, who gave me the forms which I filled in and was given an appointment 2 hrs later.
I can’t really comment on teehone contact as I didn’t use it.
I need to do this every month and done this with a number of surgery’s while travelling around the uk.
This surgery was the friendliest most efficient surgery I have been too. Including my perm ant gap. Receptionists, doctor, admin staff and even the patients who I had a jolly chat with.
