I have just phoned this practice as my nan has been reviewed several times before coming away. After we have all been with the same practice though out our lives, an this person on the other end thinks it's ok to put the phone down on me when my nan has just passed out! I have phoned for help regardless of waiting for an appointment in a weeks time! They were vile and rude!How dare they be so rude on the phone! Specially when some one is in need! I will be taking this further as my call is recorded. Never will ever recommend this person again. My nan nearly died an they had no sypthonthy what's so ever! I would hate it to be them, on the other side of the phone and their nan die. How dare they! So rude. Life and death situation and they think it's ok to put the phone down on people! | ||||||

This is a model GP practice for NHS. The systems used here can be used as an example for other surgeries. The practice takes active part in undergraduate medical education with Keele University Medical School. The doctors give you time to explain your medical problems, they listen and they take appropriate actions to make you better. The doctors and other staff in this practice e.g reception, specialist nurses and pharmacy respect you. The appointments are well spaced, you are seen within a reasonable period of wait and there is never overcrowding in the waiting area. Information regarding the surgery is provided as a newsletter and there are improvements taking place at all times in the IT system. Many of the services are provided at the practice, e.g ECG, Blood tests, Pharmacy, Diabetic screening, Immunisations, Citizens Advise, and Hearing tests. | ||||||
