Absolutely appalling GP the staff do not want to help and do not care. The doctors are not efficient and do not take time and care in their work. Dr Akhter a prime example by informing my eye screening programme I’ve never been diabetic when I’m happy to admit I am and have been since 2009, so his stupidity got me removed from the eye screening programme leaving my eye site at risk. I wouldn’t bother wasting your time with this GP. Receptionists are clueless and don’t have any passion in what they do, so you might aswell just talk to yourself on the phone. | ||||||

I find it hard to believe that when phoning for a repeat prescription more often than not I'm forgotten.
In the past five occasions I've ordered a prescription it has failed to be completed three times. On several occasions over the past few years since I started coming to this medical centre I have been forced to go without Asthma and High blood pressure medication because after I order over the phone and speak to reception something goes wrong. I am starting to take this personally.
I have to phone up because I work out of town and when I do manage to get there before they close and find out the prescription was never placed I have to wait until the next day because there are no GPs around to write me an emergency prescripition, they are supposed to be open until six so I expect there to be a GP there until six, otherwise what's the point.
From this point on I will be asking the name of the person I'm speaking to.
If it happens again official complaints will be registered.
It's a shame because the Nurses here are excellent, the Doctors with one exception are good too. Please sort this out. | ||||||

Tried booking a blood test and was told that they had a appointment that morning at 11.40, I was 10.30 so I left work early drove to the surgery only to be told there was no appointment! I said It was booked it only an hour ago by your receptionist, but apparently she couldn't remember it !! But just as a surprise there was a appointment booked for 3 days time, coincidentally at 11.40 ! Now I have to wait nearly 3 weeks to spend to the doctor about the results. But I did get a call from the nurse about having another blood test so took the half a day off work but while I was driving home from work I get a text 2 hours before the appointment saying it has been cancelled ! | ||||||
