My last visit to Heavitree Surgery was a disappointing one. I felt that the doctor I saw failed to take into account any of my genuine concerns. Indeed it was only with difficulty that I was able to obtain any medical treatment whatsoever. And this was not the treatment that I had requested. I was not impressed by the rather patronising tone of the appointment. I shall not be making another. | ||||||

After a well woman check with the nurse I would like to say thank you for her advice and cheery attitude. I didn't realise how down and depressed I was until I had a conversation which brought it to the fore, some concern which she put me at ease about it came about in general conversation and it was something that I wouldn't have bothered the DR about but having spoken to the nurse I cam out feeling so much better and positive and have remained so. Just wanted to say thanks my visits are always made nicer by your frontline receptionist too. such a nice bunch | ||||||

I made a panic telephone call to this surgery regarding my daughter who transferred to this surgery in September.
She is now a student at Exeter uni and living 240 miles from home.
My daughter had already told me what a lovely practice it is.
Our situation is slightly tricky as you can only be registered at one GP surgery .
I’d Had conversations with our own practice about my daughter being able to access on going care but they failed on all levels. They had no compassion or solutions on how my daughter was going to access treatment she may need.
Heavitree practice have so far been fantastic.
I had a conversation with a gentleman who answered the phone.
He was compassionate, knowledgeable and put our needs first.
He was able to answer all my questions and help make a plan .
So far this lovely gentleman has carried out what he said he would do .
I feel reassured that while my daughter is a long way from home, she is able to access the services she needs .
I really hope this level of service continues and can’t thank this practise enough for the service so far. | ||||||
