I really like this surgery. They answer the phone, the reception staff aren't miserable and it all seems to work properly. The on-site pharmacy is a bit pants (slow and prone to mistakes) but I'd recommend going to one of the ones in the main Southmead square anyway. As for the doctors, I've found them to be absolutely superb. The on-site osteopath is also great. | ||||||

I am 65 years old and not a Bristol resident but fell unwell whilst staying with my 94 year old mother who is on an 'End of Life Plan' and receiving palliative care.. I phoned Mum's surgery - the Henbury and Southmead practice to see if they could help me. They were very unhelpful and directed me to phone 111. This service was also unhelpful suggesting I might need to drive from North Bristol to the Royal Hospital in Bath. As I was feeling really poorly this was not an option. A carer at Mum's complex suggested the Greenway Practice. THANK GOODNESS she did. They were MARVELLOUS. The reception staff were very sympathetic and caring and got me an appointment that evening. The doctor I saw was amazing. She diagnosed strep throat, mouth thrush, raised temperature and heart rate and prescribed penicillin. Within 2 days I could eat and drink again and felt so much better.

Amazing practice. I can always get an appointment and emergency if needed. I like the way you have your own gp unless you need to see another in an emergency. I have been with many practices and none of them are near as good as this one. You can place your trust in them 100%.
