At 8.04 this morning, the on-line triage system for any appointments today stated 'We have closed the booking system for today'. The surgery only opens at 8am!!! The phone lines were then constantly engaged (probably off the hooks) for at least a couple of hours following this. Later in the morning, I EVENTUALLY managed to get to speak to a receptionist who said there were no appointments left at all today and to try again Monday. I don't for one moment expect anything will be any better on Monday and I am NOT happy at being made to feel guilty by your receptionist for being unwell - as though I was bothering them by making a perfectly reasonable request - to see a doctor when I am unwell. What is the point in being a doctor's surgery when clearly no one cares AT ALL anymore?!! |

Was told by Dr mark to book a phone app with him in a months time for a follow up. Phoned surgery to do this and was told I needed to phone in the morning, on the day. I am at work all morning and cannot be hanging on the phone when I am at work. I was only following the Dr's instructions and was told this was not possible to book a phone app in advance. I think some staff need retraining . |
