Once again, Westlands has excelled itself through the online non-urgent form. Within a couple of days I was given a telephone appointment with my GP. He rang as arranged. He listened, gave reassurance, advice and promised a repeat prescription of earlier medication. Within hours I received notification from Lloyds Direct that my medication had been dispatched. GP parting comment was “We are here if you need us.” All this from my armchair. Thank you Westlands. |

I can but praise the staff - doctors, nurses and administrators alike - for the good service they have provided to me over many years. My latest problems have been dealt with quickly, courteously and efficiently leading to my being effectively treated with good results. Thank you. |

I'm extremely disappointed with this surgery. I came to westlands because the service at my other surgery was not good but now I feel I'm not getting the service I need. I filled in a non urgent form only to get a message to say I've been put on a waiting list to see physio. At no point has my GP seen me or personally contacted me with my problems. My problem is I have been having headaches, face pain & neck pain for weeks now. After so long I rang the surgery to ask roughly how long I would have to wait for physiotherapy but the receptionist said it could be a long time. Because of the extent of my problem, I was advised by receptionist to do a urgent request. Got a message to say it was passed onto my named GP & it can take upto a week for my doctor to get back to me. 9 working days later no response. Called the surgery & told she would ask my doctor to call me back today. Still no call from my doctor. So much for urgent request. Now I will have to call the surgery again to say my doctor didn't get back to me having been told she would. I'm appauled by how I have been treated. It seems to speak to your own doctor or get an appointment is impossible. All I get is text messages rather than someone to talk to I've got to the point that I will be going back to the other surgery where going by other people, care more for their patients. Westlands are not what they used to be. Terrible service and uncaring majority of the time. I certainly would not recommend Westlands. |
