I received a phone call from a doctor after using the online form system. I did not feel like the doctor was listening to me and was quite condescending. No solution was offered. I feel quite let down |

On specific dates, 13th Dec' 2000 & 31st Oct' 2007 I made known important personal details to individual doctors within the dual practice, additionally providing documentary confirmation in December 2016 to Central Records @ Southampton University hospital.
When twice hospitalised, June & July 2019 I answered consultants' questions necessarily including the same details e.g. Dec 2000 involved matters (having previously been from from the Official Secrets Act) directly linked to certified long term health risks from exposure to Nerve Gas Sarin & Mustard gas.
The matter in Oct 2007 related to giving confirmed details of parental genetic high risk of prostate cancer + resultant metastatic tumours; which caused death of that parent. Both elements described had been accidentally or carelessly omitted from my records @ or around those dates confirmed by digital data.
As my wife's registered carer she adds her own appreciation of additions to / corrections made updating documentation of a Lasting Power of Attorney, Living Will, & matters associated with her own Progressive Multiple Sclerosis tissue donations to the M.S. Centre for Research..
My own points were immediately, accurately corrected; red flagged via the IT Manager and colleague; receiving prompt confirmation in writing. Records now show historic, & current risks identifying to/ for any future clinician's awareness, an improvement for any future diagnosis.
After such a protracted period, historic doubts / queries / suggestions asked of me about repetitive causes of health issues are greatly diminished; replaced by corrected data. I am especially grateful for the IT Manager's listening ear, a reader's eye for detail, & that of her colleague in the IT dept of Wistaria Surgery. Thank you very much.

My wife and I can no longer give this surgery a rating of excellent since the introduction of the online form for an appointment. We are both in our 70s and find filling forms out online daunting. Receptionist when the phoned after a very long wait have been unhelpful and rude telling us the forms online are our only way to get an appointment. We have both tried this system and in both cases we never got to see a doctor leaving us both in pain waiting 3 to 4 weeks for a physio appointment. This is a great pitty as we both in the past, without hesitation have recomended this practice to others as a carring and approachable, unfortunatly this is no longer the case and we can no longer continue recommend this practice. |
