I don't write reviews. But today I have too. I have been with Danebury Avenue Surgery more than 34 years. I have seen doctors come and go. Now the Surgery has changed from good to bad even worst. I called the surgery today to have an appointment because when I went to boots to get my prescription for my heart they told me to contact my GP because it has to be reviewed. If my medication has to be review shouldn't the doctor contact me to see him/her. I have not heard from the doctors but from the pharmacist at boots that my medication has to be review. In good will the pharmacist gave me for 7 days. Then I called the Surgery to get an appointment letting her know why what I got in reply was rudeness saying so what don't care. Is this how to treat a person who needs help. They have to know they are dealing with people health that means life. If they cannot understand that then they don't have any business to be working in a surgery. I hope the GP's at Danebury Avenue Surgery read the reviews and make changes. I think NHS has to do some checking on the surgery. Now I am looking to find another surgery it makes me unhappy to leave a surgery after 34 years. | ||||||

the worst Doctors and receptionists i have EVER had the misfortune of having to deal with!!!!! the receptionist it the rudest most useless i have ever known, when she can be bothered to answer the phone she is so rude it is unbelievable, i wouldn't talk to a dog they way she talks to people, how she got the job i do not know. as for the doctors when you can talk or god forbid see one they could not give a dam, pre-Covid they would not do basic treatments and checks, during Covid not a chance in hell of them doing anything at all, and now is no better,you tell them you have a chest infection (and you know it is not Covid having 4 negative lateral flows and a history of chest infections and COPD) the doctors literal words are' it is probable covid, take paracetamol and get over it' well it wasn't covid, but it did result in being taken into hospital due to the Doctors inability / lack of interest in doing there job. you would be better treated if you went to a vets than this surgery!!!!!! would i recommend it to anyone, not a chance in hell i would!!!!! | ||||||

I have been disappointed with the attitude of the doctor, who I have never seen before in this surgery. He spent my appointment time just reading my notes on computer, has not asked a single question except what of medication I am on and answered my questions in briefest, most unkind manner. I have never felt so unwelcomed by a doctor before. | ||||||
