We moved to Queenstown Road in 2016 and, despite living very close to the practice, I was initially reluctant to switch as I was very happy with my previous GP. In the end I did move due to the convenience and I am very pleased that I did. I have always received excellent care here, I've always managed to get through on the phone and staff have always been polite and helpful.
In December about 2 hours before going on holiday I realised that I did not have sufficient stock of my repeat prescription medication to last me for the whole two weeks. I stopped by the surgery and, despite this obviously being due to my own mistake, the receptionist did everything she could to assist me and within 30 minutes they sorted it out for me. I really appreciated this - thanks for the great effort! |

Extremely poor asthma knowledge and care. No asthma nurses within the practice, ended up having to go to a private doctor just to obtain an asthma care plan. Receptionist is also extremely rude and unaccomodating, she makes you feel very uneasy and unwelcome. Regretting joining this practice. Reply from Queenstown Road Medical Practice Wed, 05 Dec 2018 10:23:30 Z I would like you to contact the practice so that we can establish what has happened here. We have a competent Asthma Nurse who has worked at the practice for 15 years. It would be useful to know more about your experience. Please telephone and ask to speak to Sharon Higgins. |
