Central Surgery is absolutely the BEST G.P practice I've ever had! The reception staff are absolutely amazing, so kind, helpful and prompt with everything including admin (I.E when I need a G.P letter etc) and the Dr's are just as great! They truly do go above and beyond for their patients. Also, I have a rare disease and I am in regular contact with the surgery, so I'm speaking as someone who has probably encountered all the different receptionists and Dr's and I can't fault one yet in the past 5 years. Thank you central surgery! I couldn't be more grateful for the care you provide, in spite of being a busy practice. ???? |

Has dived from a lovely surgery with fantastic receptionists and wonderful doctors to a real sham. I’ve just been sent a text asking me to book an appointment for a regular check and have been told that the first appointment is in 3 weeks time!!! |

I am in extreme pain following colorectal cancer radiotherapy. I need a quick check with the GP to ensure the medication and dressings are ok, 10 minutes max. I tried ringing but couldn't get through so I went into the surgery. The receptionist offered a telephone appointment in two weeks time. This is totally unhelpful and useless. Furthermore, the receptionist didn't seem to know the names of the doctors, whether they were full-time, part-time or locum, nor the name of the cancer specialist. It is no wonder that patients have to go to A&E. I note that Central Surgery has a poor quality rating by the CQC. |
