North Wood Group Practice @ Tulse Hill

Disgusting service. The doctors obviously don't want to see patients. Was told this morning the would send a link for some excercise but not received any thing. Phoned up receptionist said she would send. Still not received. When are they going to start seeing patients.

This refers to the Tulse Hill Practice. It's astonishing to me this place. To get help for any condition you have to fight the doctors for it. Really you do. It's like they don't want to help. I hate going there, it's at the point that I only go when I'm absolutely desperate because I know I'll end up arguing with them as they do not listen and you really do have to fight them to get anywhere. They really don't get how conditions can really bring misery to your life. The last doctor I went to see was more a new age guru than a doctor. I knew before I'd left that I'd have to rebook to see another doctor. Why do the doctors here insist on making everything as difficult as possible? Why not just listen and help? When I tell a doctor a treatment they would like me to try doesn't work as I've already tried it then alternatives must be considered, but no, they carry on telling me to do something that doesn't work. They just don't listen. Further the treatment offered recently was ridiculous anyway. They wanted me to do talk therapy for tinnitus! How on earth is that going to alleviate the noises in my ears making trying to sleep hell on earth? I feel completely lost and hopeless when I leave this place. The doctor could see how exhausted I was through lack of sleep and she wants me to do talk therapy. I told her that if I couldn't control this problem I'd likely lose my job as hearing is paramount in my role (we're tested on our hearing regularly), but that just flew over her head. Talk therapy, you really couldn't make it up. I said to her 'this doesn't sound very encouraging' and she basically just shrugged her shoulders then eventually said if it gets worse come back and see us there are other things we can do. If it wasn't bad enough I wouldn't have gone there in the first place and if there are other things they can do then do them! Do I have to collapse with exhaustion or have a heart attack through lack of sleep before they give me real treatment? The NHS is absolutely hopeless, I suspect I'll have to go private now. I really hate this place, they never help.
