I've been struggling with my mental health since I joined this practice six years now. I've been put on many different types of medication to try stabilise my moods. Recently due to my mental health deteoireating I was put on anti phycotic medication & medication for depression. I was told by my doctor that I was to take a months dose before being contacted to see were to go from there. I was never contacted. When I put in for a repeat prescription, I did not get the medication I needed. This is the second time this has happened, where my meds were forgotten or a decision was made without my consent to change. Both times I was told it was a computer error! I had to ring up to correct but forgot to collect due to the stress it's caused me. It left me very distressed over the weekend as the chemist I use was closed, and now I am struggling to go out. I am very upset with the lack of care provided for my mental health from my doctor at this practice. |

The GPs are exceptional..The booking system is ok,works for me.
I did have the worst smear experience EVER however. Its taken me this long to put it down in words. Please LISTEN to what your patient is saying. And DO NOT ridicule them when they get upset about your treatment. |

I had a health problem that was deteriorating over a very busy working week so difficult to book an appt. ended up calling 111 at the weekend and received good care and call back from a gap who was able to prescribe medication that helped out temporarily, however stated it was important to see go to be followed up may need further investigations and medication review. So I took the day off onthe Monday called the surgery automated system got an on the day appt. however they ask you to put in your number ( home number) so later when the go did call back they didn’t use that number they used my mobile which I didn’t have on me and so call was missed. Called the surgery after an hour when I picked up my mobile and noticed missed call, was advised go woukd try and ring back but they didn’t. So then needed to wait until another clear day where I coukd manage a all at random time, called in the morning and both days have rung to find there are no more appts available. Woukd be really helpful to have some bootable in advance or next day sessions. Will keep trying. To be fair have been with surgery for 25 years and been relatively happy with services received. |
