I rang G R health centre at 8oclock no23 in line got to 17 and was cut off rang again back to 23 finally got through at 8-35 to be told no appointments or ring backs. I wouldn’t mind but I was sent a message to make the appointment to see my Dr do you have to DIE before you get to see a Dr at Galleons.I was told my kidneys where not working properly and the tablets I was given for 1 month have run out told to try again next week. What’s the POINT they don’t care once you get old. SO SO ANGRY | ||||||

When trying to book appointment to just speak to a doctor, recording told me I was 39th in the queue. Called again was told 16th in queue, drove to health centre to speak with reception face to face only to be old no you must ring 8 in the morning. As I felt desperate spoke to pharmacy who could not give me anything as it appeared I had an infection so need to talk to doctor??. On returning home I went online for advice and submitted form and to my great relief a doctor called me 1/2 hour after I sent online request and prescription for antibiotics was issued. I rarely request doctors appointments and order all medication online. I have been with this practice since it was built over and can honestly say the service has been brilliant but, as we are not back to normal (re booking appointments online) the receptionist could not only not cope but, appeared to have a trainee with her. The receptionist was taking the calls and dealing with the walk ins together? I really felt for this lady as the stress Of having to deal with the public, especially when people are unwell was terrible. I was very lucky and appreciate the co-operation l got but can’t wait to be able to deal with everything online. I have worked with the public ( Barclays Bank and jobcentreplus) all my working life and appreciate how difficult us public can be…. Thank you for reading this and keep up the great work you all do.
