We arrived for a ctscan this morning to be told by your two receptionist that you do not do ctscans in beltinge and reculver clinic. We arrived by hospital car and the driver of the car , who went in before us, to book us in was informed we had no appointment booked. We then returned home obviously very upset and worried. We were told to ring our doctors surgery which we did, and after waiting 25 minutes were informed by the receptionist at the surgery we had to ring the company that did thescans we then rung them and they confirmed we had an appointment for a scan at 10.40 Monday 17th may. My partner had nothing to eat or drink from the night before only water. He has a heart condition and dementia. I myself have lung cancer and c.o.p.d and a back, which in my doctors vernacular is knackered...William lucas dob 8/07/1938.and Pamela Terry dob 27/07/1942.. we are now awaiting to hear about another scan. This is unbelievable incompetence. This delay could cost lives and is inexcusable. Yours truly Pamela terry' | ||||||

I've not been registered for very long and only had to visit a number of times, however I can not fault the surgery.
I have moved from a large town where call waits are 40 minutes plus, no appointments for weeks, very rude receptionists (who think that they're medical experts) etc. I can say that I've had same day appointments for emergencies and a week for routine appointments. All the staff I have encountered have been very friendly and reassuring. | ||||||
