The system of ringing on the day for an appointment and being offered triage is just not good enough, especially for working people who may start work at 06.00 hours and may not have access to a phone whilst at work. They may not be ill enough to take time off work but need to see a doctor for a non-urgent consultation and cannot keep taking time off to ring the surgery on the off-chance that they may get an appointment. | ||||||
