I only attend the doctors occasionally. It can be difficult to get through at 8.30am as the phones are busy but I have always managed to get through and get an appointment on the day. There is also an option of booking an appointment advanced and have also done this. I usually choose to see one of the female GP's but I've found all of them good. The reception staff are very helpful and I'm always greeted with a smile. I would definitely recommend this surgery. |

The doctor is an exceptional GP. In all my years of experience of GP surgeries I have only come across two truly wonderful GP's who are excellent at the skills and knowledge of their practice, give you time, are caring, and go to the nth degree to ensure that your health concerns are taken fully seriously acting on ensuring that all possible referrals are initiated and organised.Truly exceptional doctor.
The reception staff could be softer and warmer towards one. They are obviously busy but calling for an appointment feels frantic and rushed and one is spoken to as if one is a number rather than a human being. I've often come off a call feeling as if I am disliked! I am sure it is not that but just intense busyness but it impacts quality of communication and is not so pleasant to call to make an appointment. But, one can see they work hard and are extremely efficient. I'd just suggest they smile a bit more and adopt a warmer and more connected tone in their contact with patients ... but maybe its just me and I do not inspire such!
Yet this does not take away from the incredible doctor. A doctor with not only a wealth of wisdom and knowledge but one with humanity, a rare thing! |
