I have never had any problems booking an appointment with a doctor or nurse at Mile Oak Medical Centre. I always use the online booking system, unless its an emergency, then I phone up. The doctor always calls back in the time stated and I get an appointment with that doctor the same day. Most of the preliminary discussion takes place on the phone so when I see the doctor he/she already has the background information on my situation. All the doctors and the reception staff as well as the nurses are very nice and really helpful. The clinic is clean and welcoming too. I've been using the Mile Oak Medical Centre since moving to the area a couple of years ago and found the whole experience very satisfying and strangely a pleasure to do, especially as I have a couple of life long conditions with their side effects which can be extremely frustrating for all concerned especially my cardiac and respiratory problems which are not caused by being overweight, which I'm not, although I follow the instructions as best I can from my GP, which is something that is also a big concern for them, educating me to know more about my conditions and how we can work together to do what's best all of the time.. I find their compation and ever willing to get to the bottom of things and their continual hard work and determination very satisfying and reassuring. I know if we ever moved out of the area and it wasn't miles away, me and my family, that still live at home, would still use this surgery as I have every faith and truing them to help me. I write this today in appreciation and a huge thank you to my GP in working very hard over a long time to get me to the QVH for treatment for a long standing condition. Lastly, everyone is very friendly and polite and helpful you couldn't wish for more from your Surgery. |

The.finest medical centre I've ever experienced.My partner has progressive M.S and I have COPD;We both have received the highest quality treatment over a period of 15 years;from every member of staff be they doctors,nurses,receptionists,etc the calibre of service has been wonderful.The Gold Standard for GP practices. |
