Had cervical screening at Dr Bailey's surgery last week. Smooth check in on screen, friendly welcome by Practice Nurse, professional, timely and pain free procedure. |

A neighbour recommended the Bailey Practice to me years ago, but at that point the surgery wasn’t taking on new patients. When the surgery opened their books again I jumped at the chance to register, and I am so pleased I did. Everyone there seems very pleasant, with the atmosphere generally calm and well-ordered. The reception staff are helpful, answer the phones promptly and amazingly it appears possible to get an appointment within a reasonable time (in stark contrast to my previous practice). The medical staff I’ve seen have listened attentively and were supportive, offering various ways to help. My experience at the Bailey Practice so far has been really positive and I’m glad I moved there. |

https://www.nhs.uk/using-the-nhs/nhs-services/gps/patient-choice-of-gp-practices/ Apparently this does not go for this GP We live only 2 roads away and “out of area” and not eligible for registration. Such a shame and advised by the receptionist to try Addison Road which is not that much closer to where we live. Shame but as usual health care depends on your postcode and has nothing to do with patient choice. |
