I have been a patient at this surgery for over 20 years. I don’t often need to see the GP but over the years I have needed to go on occasion. Mostly I have been satisfied with my patient experience and have been treated appropriately for any complaints. However I am saddened to say that after my last telephone consultation I am now leaving to register at another practise. Suffering with high anxiety and sleep disturbance and needing to speak about menopausal symptoms I was shocked at how poorly considered my distress was during the appointment. The GP (female) couldn’t wait to get me off the phone and at one point directed me to Holland and Barrett for a herbal remedy to alleviate my symptoms!! This advice certainly doesn’t follow NICE guidelines for treatment or care pathway. There was no patient centred care plan and really no protocol for following evidence based practise. Very narrow and unhelpful telephone style. Very disappointed at receiving such poor care. | ||||||

Whatever the complaints of some, I have found the doctors excellent, giving advice and involving the patient in decisions about treatment , referring on when needed. I trust them and have not been disappointed. Phoning for an appointment is tricky with any surgery in London I would think, but I have usually got one within the time scale I have needed. Online booking can be a blessing . | ||||||

1 March 2022 - telephone consultation for a referral letter; GP advised referral would be emailed to me together with details for a blood test 7 March 2022 - nothing received; called surgery; was told that i would receive a call 8 March regarding referral and blood test 8 March 2022 - no phone call received 9 March 2022 - called surgery; the GP from my telephone appointment on March 1 had not uploaded any notes regarding my telephone consultation - nothing about my referral or blood tests; I now have to wait for another GP telephone consultation regarding the referral As if that wasn't sufficient; the practice manager to whom complaints should be referred is related to the GP who from my telephone consultation on 1 March so I have no expectation that complaint will be addressed | ||||||
