I have witnessed Lots of changes in the system as well as doctors over the couple of years. Their new trial system of appointments on the day and phone call back is good, adapted to technological advancement but it has become more hard to see a doctor even for serious/urgent concerns. The staff try their best to accommodate appointments of last minute ‘missing’ doctors or find appointments in another GP centres which would be half an hour or more (on public transport) from the registered patient’s residence. There have been times when all the three doctors at this surgery have prescribed and concluded one symptom to be three different health conditions, yet still without any change or healing. If you can’t take time off from work or travelling from work for appointments then One suggestion would be to change the gp or find walk-in clinics which are closer to your home-or office instead of wasting time trying at this surgery. Efforts are great and coming from a nice place, staff and nurses are wonderful, but not helping patients who are ill and who needs to have a steady doctor consultation and access to medical record. |

I have been a patient for a very long time at this surgery, im happy with the service..I have had good doctors over the years...i have seen the changes especially now that the new doctor is here. changes for the better..He is very welcoming which makes me feel welcome to come there.. he takes the time to listen and cares of your health needs.,..he has helped me sort out referals etc, and is supportive. he is funny too which is a bonus.,The new telephone system is a great idea. if the line is busy you get an automatic call back to hold your space in the queue instead of you holding on the line for ages .i get appointments more easily. plus the new GP app is a good idea. the new reception staff also do their best with how busy it is..there is a added service for appointments called the hub which is a great idea too.lots of helpful things. Keep up the good work !! |
