I made a request on 6th august to see a 'female dr' and to have a review of my medication and also to state I required a new fit note I was given an appointment on the 8th which I attended (today), did not see a female GP, in fact, I didn't get see any GP but the 'pharmacist!' he was nice and I got my medication back, however, he could not do the 'fit note' was told he sent it to reception to do as they can sort it, went reception told no we can't do that for you... I have MS that causes a whole range of problems, my neurologist tells to avoid stress, bit impossible when trying to work with this GP surgery!. Reply from Balaam Street Practice Thu, 08 Aug 2019 17:49:16 +0100 Dear Patient Thankyou for your comment. You requested a medication review with a female doctor on 6 August. We always try to accomodate requests to see a lady doctor, but on this occaision our lady doctor was on holiday. Medication reviews are best done with the pharmacist - and from your comment I see you were happy with that review. Your next point was that the sick note was not issued when you saw the pharmacist on 8 August. In fact another request was raised by the reception team on 8 August for the sick note and in keeping with surgery policy this is normally done within 48h. My neighbouring surgeries offer an appointment in 3 weeks. We really work hard to deliver same day or next day care and this is often unrecognised. |

I have been with the surgery since 2011 and I can see a lot of improvement. Dr. Sullman and team do provide a safe, high-quality, compassionate care. Thank you very much indeed. God bless ?? |
