I have been a patient of queen abridge group practise since I was a child. Since covid, the doctors don’t like to do the job that they’re paid to do. I have had to go to a&e on multiple occasions now as the practise has refused to give me an appointment; the practise used to offer same day appointments if called between 8:30 -10:30 am in the morning, now you are lucky if you even get to speak to a doctor on the phone. I have several ongoing health issues which have been neglected by the practise as well as them leaving skin wounds to get infected and worse due to over prescribing antibiotics ( as they don’t want to see you in person, they do this first then several times after on the phone) to the point where I now have an immunity to that prescription. I understand that there have to be more precautions in place due to covid and I am fine with that but no one ever completed a surgery through a telephone call and I don’t think speaking to patients only through the phone actually helps anyone. These are not real doctors they are call centre doctors. If you are thinking to join a doctors practise don’t join queensbridge as they won’t help you they’ll neglect you. |
