I like glen road surgery the front door is too stiff and unsigned yes the door is big and has wheelchair access
But the Door, it's too slow in its mechanical operations and thus cumbersome stopping people in there stride.
The CCTV at the surgery can confirm my diagnosis.
I am in the door I approach the counter where behind sits really compantent Doctors ancillary staff.
They sort out every thing there for you and your family
Except sort out appointments
Sorry you cant get a doctors appointment for any date you must ring on the day mornings or afternoon to get an appointment. Good luck with that engaged tone.
The counter in the surgery is not fit for purpose
Other people are listening to private and highly personal information
To say the least it is embarrassing and also downright rude when two members of staff come out from the devide behind the counter and are laughing at your predicament (check the cctv)
The two assistants they where not laughing.
One of the two was excellent in dealing with my situation she was extremely supportive and highly efficient. I had confidence because of her experience that I was seeing in front of me.
I thank God.
The whole reception area needs to be thought out
Privacy must be restored for the person walking in the door to speak with the receptionist. (Pronto)
East Ham medical centre has a good enduring privacy counter and that surgery is a role model for all other surgeries in the UK
I strongly believe that on going sick people should be prioritised in the surgery with a better communication network to access the service.
Yes it's TRUE that things that are not ideal some thing that are outdated need to change and that's how change happily happens. | ||||||

I came to the practice this PM and I was served my a particular lady who was courteous, helpful and absolutely professional in her manner. I want to commend her for all her positive qualities and thank her for her consideration and help. It reminds me, I came in yesterday for an appointment with a Healthcare assistant and I received precisely the same high quality of service from her.
All in all I am so glad I am registered with this practice, and I would definitely tell everybody I meet about it. Thank you Glen Road Medical Centre. | ||||||
