Absolutely Horrendous experience with this GP surgery, never get an appointment when you need one and quality of doctors is horrible. I also had a horrible experience when I wanted to get them fill up a claim form required by my insurer for a fracture in my kids arm. They simply refused to fill up the form saying this is not their job. When I checked with my Insurer they told that they have never heard such a response from any other GP in the UK. Some of the staff at this surgery is really rude and dont treat people with respect. |

I phoned the surgery three times in regards to booking travel vaccinations I was told that they can only be booked 6 weeks in advance. I then went to the surgery on Friday 24/05/19 and was told to come back next week. When I returned on 28/05/19 the staff had refused to see me as they were short of staff, I explained to the male receptionist that I just needed to find out if I needed the vaccination. Receptionist said they can’t give appointments as they were short of staff. I asked to speak to practice manager who also told me the same thing. I then explained I just need to check if with nurse if need a vaccination which nurse can advised me over the phone but the practice manager told me to book an appointment to see a nurse. I don’t understand why an appointment is needed booked when I can get advised over phone. Manager said this service isn’t mandatory I should look online and see if I’m eligible for vaccine. I explained that if I could do that I wouldn’t be asking to get advised from the nurse. The manager then asked me to go to pharmacy to find out if I need a vaccination and also asked me to pay £2 for copy of my imm’s which I can print by myself. If could get access to medical record I don’t understand why I need to pay £2 for four separate copies. I asked for my medical records online access in February 2019, according to guidelines I had to request them and can take up to forty days but still haven’t heard anything. I phoned twice to find out about my request but was repeatedly told someone will get back to me. Can I request NHS England or CCG to look into this? . Surgery is very quick to advise people to change to another GP if unhappy, but I should be able to get medical and non-medical advice in a professional manner. If I’m not happy and am making complaints to the practice manager why am I not being listened to, why patients are always wrong? And the staffs are right. Why is I am getting advised to change GP practice? It should be my decision to make; if I am not happy with the service I have all the right to voice my opinion. Why do I get advised by the receptionist to change GP when I pay tax as others do? I strongly believe that they wouldn’t like to be treated the way they treat patients and I am finding his very difficult to get across to the manager. I should be able to get medical and non-medical advice in a professional manner, why should I book 4 appointments when I don’t need them, it’s a waste of resources I would like someone to get in touch with me in regards to why I am being forced to book appointments with a nurse when they can be given to other patients. I don’t need an appointment I just need to be advised by a nurse. |

All of the reception staff are professional, apart from one person who is rude, obnoxious, impatient and doesn't mind embarrassing patients. I have seen her speak to elderly patients very rudely and on a visit today, she was swearing. I know this sounds far fetched but I hope they have cameras on this area to prove it. As for the surgery, it isn't too bad, the GPs lately are good and the surgery is clean and tidy. I seriously am satisfied with the surgery and the appointment system seems to be improving. If just one receptionist was trained more appropriately or better still sacked, the place would be greatly improved! |
