Anytime I try to get information from this surgery the receptionist give me the complete wrong information which has resulted in pointless time waisting. I also called at 13.50 to try and get an emergency appointment to be told to call back at 2pm. When I tried calling back it took me 15 minutes to get through and was then told there's no appointments left and I should have called a 2pm. What did they think I was trying to do!!!
I completely understand they might be busy but we all are so there's no need for the obnoxious attitude!
The doctors and nurses there from what I've seen are all good it's just a shame the receptionist let them down | ||||||

I have been a patient at the William Fisher Medical Centre for 30+ years and have, without exception, always had excellent, personal and attentive care. The doctors are all extremely good (including locums), and have a great "bedside manner". The receptionists, nurses and other staff are all very helpful and friendly and, although it is obvious the practice is busy, they are never dismissive or rude.
I have had a couple of occasions in the last 30 years that doctors have treated critical conditions, and in one case may have prevented a really serious outcome (e.g. if a lump had not been spotted and acted on swiftly). In between times, I have been through pregnancies, childhood illnesses and accidents, and always been treated brilliantly.
I feel exceptionally lucky that I am on their register and this is a key reason that we would never move house in the area!! | ||||||

Suffering, as I do, from a couple of rather serious problems, I've found that all the staff are extremely helpful, caring and understanding. It always seems that nothing is too much trouble. | ||||||
