Can rarely get through to reception on the phone due to being on hold for ages and eventually being hung up on. When I finally do the ladies always talk to me bluntly in a very unapproachable way. I phoned up to ask whether the surgery provide nurse appointments and she answered "yeah" with a tone suggesting I should already know this. A few months ago I went for an appointment as I had caught mumps from my university area. It was a lady who I hadn't seen before and she barely spoke to me the whole time. She eventually got a doctor to come and have a look. Note: this is the only doctor who is polite and helpful here. He told me I most likely had mumps and the lady doctor should send a self-test kit out to me. She never did this and now it will never be on my medical record that I had mumps. Would definitely not recommend this surgery. |

This really is a fantastic surgery. Very efficient and helpful reception who seem intuitive about our needs. Very good practice nurse has controlled my husband's asthma with correct medication and advice. This morning my husband told me he was out of blood pressure meds, Prescription zoomed over to the pharmacy in seconds. I cannot understand any negative reviews of this practice. From our perspective they need commending. Obviously there are times when you have to wait for an appointment. However, the first line of contact, the reception, know their stuff and try their hardest to help. |

Appointments are hard to get. Receptionist diagnose conditions and open wounds are ignored. How can these people be GP’s |
