Terrible experience with two receptionist, as I see in the reviews posted from 4 years. It seems this practice gets away with treating people like crap. Very rude receptionist and reported to NHS England complaints. Unfortunately, the practice are professional liars, conspired together and made up issues about me. Now have a letter in my records that is untrue and they have no decency to remove such lies. Claims to have no recording of my conversations to investigate the awful allegations they instigated on my records. Instead they blame the lovely pharmacist who we had no issue with. Rest assured one day the unjust shall be found out and there will be justice. Whatever you do don’t join this practice and save yourself the effort NHS England complaints is also a disgrace! They are not for the patients, just paper work and they said and I said! Waste of space | ||||||

I contacted the surgery on the 10/6/22. As I suspected I had a chest infection. I received a telephone consultation with a doctor who prescribed antibiotics which I took for a week. This week 8/7/22 I felt the same symptoms return so contacted the surgery again. The receptionist told me there where no appointments free to see a doctor and that I needed an appointment to speak to a doctor the next being the 18/7/22. She advised me to wait until the weekend and then to contact the out of hours service. I and my partner have worked for the NHS for over 26 years so with our little bit of knowledge I'll manage and if not visit an already overstretched A/E department. I have always been told that we have a duty of care to our patients and to avoid passing them onto other overstretched services.I have visited a dentist, had a breast scan and my partner has been able to see his doctor. I wonder why this practice is struggling to provide it's duty of care. | ||||||

I understand the negative comments but believe me when I say this is a decent surgery. They do a difficult job to a seemingly ungrateful public and generally do it very well. I have had several visits over the years and always got an appointment, was always seen quickly and received good treatment, I know of a few other practices where you cannot even get an appointment. Don't knock them unless you know the other side. | ||||||
