I have been using this surgery since it was founded in 97 when my GP Dr Suganthi moved from Upper Norwood. Since then I have been happy with the service, it has been very good until another doctor took over as Head partner. Now my diabetes prescriptions are always late, and she tried to block my Covid vaccine. My NHS shielding letter was a year late only after I queried it. The receptionist booked my vaccine appointment straight away when I called her, after confirming with NHS 119 service that I am a number four on the clinical frailty scale. Where I live, there were no long queues or any problems accessing Covid vaccines. Croydon is very well served by the NHS but this GP takes it upon herself to pick and choose which patients get what they need. She also called me, very angry when she knew that I had spoken to her staff ad booked my vaccine. Now she is being vindictive and not processing my repeat prescription for diabetes medication, every time it is late now, three times in a row. There is no reason for it, I always give the pharmacy 48 hours notice, then I turn up and it is not done. |

I have persistent atrial fibulation dilated cardiomyopathy and heart failure . Am awaiting ablation / cardio version operation . Normally manage well medication but out of anti stroke medication after weekend 1 tablet left rang surgery .Long phone que 35 people as usual , got through to prescriptions. I gave my name was told couldn’t assist me and to send an email . I sent an email this just returned and said to ring 111 . I rang 111 automated message asking for nearest town. Which I gave but got no where when it kept getting name of town wrong 3 separate phone calls . I gave up in the end out of desperation rang my pharmacist who said to come to his shop and he would help me . I went to his shop and this man rang 111 after lengthy phone conversation got me emergency 7 days medication . Thank goodness for a Caring Pharmacist is all I can say . I realise we are in a very serious situation with Covid - but no one appears to listen or more importantly care any longer . Except for a very special very busy chemist !!! |

I’ve been registered with this surgery for 12 years and always been happy. The nurses are always lovely and brilliant with my children. I’ve seen the doctor most over the years and he is always very attentive, friendly, professional and thorough. The surgery is often busy so it is frustrating when there’s a long wait on the phone for appointments but this seems to be the case with most good surgeries. Occasionally I’ve been told they don’t have any appointments for that day but if it’s urgent or for the children, they’ve always managed to squeeze us in. The ladies on reception are always friendly and seem caring, despite being rushed off their feet. |
