Today 12th April at 9.30 I wanted to book an appointment with my GP, after 17 minutes somebody answered the phone. I was not able to hear her so I asked her several times to speak up. The third time of asking her she put the phone down. In the meantime I am left in pain and no appointment. Whats the use of having a brilliant Doctor if the receptionist is not suitable of working for a Doctors Surgery with a totally unprofessional attitude like hers, she should not be employed at all. |

unfortunately the online appointment booking is beyond useless. There simply aren't any appointments available. The practice appears to be oversubscribed when trying to book an appointment. |

It is so sad to be in this predicament yet although being with exmoor for so many years the service continues to be appalling and going down a spiral. Having to leave exmoor is an option worth taking at this point. It is evident in the way in which the staff are chosen as it is not seen to in the way it should be. The staff I.E The receptionists are a representation of the surgery and the way in which they handle their job is a cause for concern. As stated by many reviews I have seen prior, the doctors within GP are great when you are seen or spoken to. However, the receptionists give out wrong information and blame you for their lack of knowledge. Yes. We are in a pandemic however hospitals and the GP are what is needed to maintain things and help. The waiting on the phone line and then being blamed for not calling on time and the constant lack of appointments is so bad. |
