Crest Medical Centre

My mum has been at this surgery for over 30 years. It’s got to the point where I am now looking into moving her to a new surgery where there is an actual doctor who works there. This surgery has doctors coming and going, locums most of the time. They don’t answer the phones. They don’t get back to you. My mums prescription was sent to the chemist, and that was also for the wrong medication. I am sitting in the surgery now and a man has walked in and said are your phones not working, I’ve just called 25 times. The girl said that they are. They just ignores the calls. The poor patient needed help with a repeat prescription. He was told he’d have to go online to deal with it. He was very stressed and had to literally fjr e the woman to help him. This surgery is disgusting. It should close down!!!

I have been with the Crest Medical Centre for over 30years now along with with my parents. I never used to have any real problems with them. I was able to get appointments and had no issues getting my repeat prescriptions. But since the merger with the Hazeldene Medical Centre, the level of service and care has deteriorated badly. The original staff (especially the 2 Asian ladies on reception) are great and still maintain the high level of service an professionalism. Since the merger, I have recently had continued problems when trying to get a repeat prescription. I was using the NHS APP to request my repeat prescription - which was going well until one of my medications (anti-coagulant) was removed from the app. I am still required to go for my blood tests with the Anti-Coagulant Clinic at the Hospital and they are the ones who advise my dosage. I questioned the surgery as to why this medication was removed from the App, only to be told that they need to see my Anti-Coagulant record book (sending a scan copy showing the readings) and details cannot be given over the App and that I could only get my prescription by sending an email with the required information. I have since done this several times now and on about 3 or 4 occasions part of my prescription is missing - no explanation from the Doctor, the pharmacist cannot help as they can only issue what is on the prescription and they advised me to contact my surgery. I do this via email (to show proof of what I requested), explaining what has happened and surprise, surprise, my prescription is put through - no explanation given. I find this unprofessional. It has happened again today. I now don't have any of medication as I have run out and now have to resend the email again. I have also been advised to contact the Ombudsman with my complaint. It is such a shame.

This dr mamoodin running a 4 surgery, All of is bloody useless, if you call you hang on to your phone for hours, you can not see your GP in for a illness. If can't manage your surgery then just go. Sad.
