The Doctors at this practice have recently changed after a very long time and hence I was initially a little apprehensive as to whether this was to be a positive or negative change. All I can say is that the experience for my family has been absolutely wonderful and this after a number of encounters for different medical issues in unfortunately a short period of time. After every consultation there was action taken when required, often with a follow-up call even when one wasn’t expected. My family have recently gone through a very difficult time with my father’s illness. Both Dr Thanki and Dr Bhatt offered and created an incredible support network in addition to the medical advice and diagnosis that they were providing. Unfortunately my father passed away and at a time when a family requires a special kind of support again the surgery stepped up! Dr Thanki especially was checking in regularly to see whether we had everything that we needed with all things that follow a death and if we were OK. This was over and above what I feel that a regular GP provides. There was even an occasion where Dr Thanki was at the surgery but not actually working and yet he still offered himself up to help for a time-sensitive issue. For any GP Practice to work effectively the medical practitioners need support from all the support staff within the organisation and again my recent experience has been very positive in this regard. A special mention for the receptionists, they have been informative, sensitive, helpful and proactive in their actions. All this at a very difficult time for all GP Practices! |

I'm asthmatic. My god doctor asked me to book a quit smoking apt with nurse which i did but was told by nurse they don't do this anymore!! I've informed the doctor who was not happy and asked me to rebook with nurse both forr asthma check and quit smoking which i did but was informed this will take lots of form filling i have to come back another day. I did f&inally was prescribed nicotine patches. When nearly out of patch called the surgery unfortunately this one particular defensive receptionist picked up and told me flatly they don't do this anymore!! Called next day luckily the other good as gold receptionist picked up told me to write my request which will be issued within 2 days. I'm disgusted to see that some receptionist either don't know or have not been trained for their job. This is my 4th incident with this particular awkward person who's also rude bringing down this good surgery's name with misinformation &bad behaviour. |

My family and I joined Sunflower medical practice in 2019. We are cared for by the most amazing Doctor Bhatt no matter how busy Doctor Bhatt is he is always patient, caring and understanding and always goes over and above. The head receptionist Lena offers an excellent service. Lena is an absolute credit to the practice.The service provided by Lena is exceptional. My family and I are very blessed to be patience’s at this practice. We cannot thank you enough. Carol and Marcus |
