It most jobs including being a GP the only way to find out a solution to issues is to ask questions to narrow down the possibilities. On numerous occasions I have been in and I am asked no questions about my issues. I am then forced to use my Bupa membership after each visit to get a second opinion and most cases I am told they are wrong. One case I had is where I had been specialists for the last 2 years about my knee and had my gait and feet tested to see what was causing the issue, I then when I was experiencing pain in my legs went to see this GP and was informed once taking my shoes off that they thought it was due to my arches being low. I then informed them that I know that is not a problem and it is because I have loose skin on my feet and that the specialists had already looked into this and was not the issue. A quick call to Bupa and they informed me that it was most likely my shoes and after changing them my problems went away. They didn't even have the ability to see me walk or my shoes, but by asking questions to solve a problem managed to do better then a doctor betting on the highest probability solution. Lazy.
