MY HUSBAND AND I HAVE BEEN CLIENTS OF DAMIRA DENTAL, WESTON LANE FOR ABOUT 5 YEARS AND HAVE ALWAYS ATTENDED OUR 6 MONTHLY NHS APPOINTMENTS. THE RECEPTION STAFF ARE VERY HELPFUL AND FRIENDLY AND THE DENTISTS THEMSELVES ARE VERY PROFESSIONAL BOTH AT OUR 6 MONTHLY NHS REVIEWS AND ALSO ON THE APPOINTMENTS I HAVE MADE FOR FURTHER DENTAL WORK FOR MYSELF. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PRACTICE, AS WE HAVE ONLY EVER HAD VERY GOOD EXPERIENCES WITH THEM. 5 STARS! |

I want a refund!!! Don’t recommend as private dentist. Very bad dentist! READ MORE Before I get to the bad; Ingrid is the friendliest receptionist ever. She really does care I had my dentist for an emergency appointment for what the receptionist told me absolutely needed to be checked out by a dentist. From start to finish the experience was bad. He asked if I was in pain; I said I was, but not anymore (there was a two day gap between when the symptom was found/the appointment was booked for- Damira has a policy that if you cancel after 24hours prior to your appointment they will charge you £1 a minute !!!!!!) I said no, and his response was “oh, well these appointments are really for people who are in pain?” Ok. Well. I’m here now. Can you just check out that everything is ok? He made me feel almost guilty for taking the appointment, as if I held a gun to his head and forced him to see me. Your receptionist recommended that I see you!!! Anyway, appointment goes on. Oscar belittles every symptom I tell him. At the end, and this is where it gets interesting. Dentist asks “do you have benefits?”. I said, “uhhh, you mean like with work? Corporate?” He said no if you claim benefits then you can go home, if you don’t then it’s £22 at reception please”. The thing is, I had already paid, as a private patient. A total of £40 the second I booked the appointment over the phone, expecting to receive a great level of care as sold to me over the phone. I was offended! Is it because of how I look, that you assume I am on benefits? That was really out of order. Not that there is anything wrong with it, but to pay £40 for an awful appointment that lasted 2 minutes and get asked if you’re claiming benefits ?!??? Never again am I returning to this place. I want my money back. |

I did visit Damira at Weston Lane few weeks ago.My children were so relaxed with the lady dentist and i was impressed too!The dentist was professional and so friendly with all of us! We asked to see the same dentist in future as she was so nice with us.The dentist name is Despina. My whole family loved her! The nurse was kind and chatty so we left the practice impressed and happy. I strongly recommend them to every one, especially to those that their children are little scared of the dentist. |
