i Have been taking my 4 year old to this practice since she was tiny I have always been made welcome in arrival and so has my little one, the dentist was prompt and the nurse was very friendly helping my child to relax, the dentist took the time to talk to my child and she gladly jumped in the chair, all I. Following years of poor, inadequate/ unnecessary dental treatment I have found Park Avenue Dental practice where all the dental technicians are helpful courteous and utterly professional. Recently I was privileged to have the dentist undertake root canal treatment. The entire procedure was carefully and thoroughly explained to me and was performed in accordance with that explanation. All that there is to show for the dentist. The dentist’s efforts is an X ray depicting a text book root canal filing and the subsequent cap (neither of which is visible) and my personal gratitude. The subsequent visit to the hygienist, an additional and valuable asset to the team, has completed my dental treatment. I now have a completely pain free mouth. I can only thank the entire team, dentist, nurses, hygienist reception staff for all their assistance.

I found the dentist and his assistant to be of a very pleasant nature, very attentive with a caring attitude towards me. The dentist explained every step of the check-up I had and again on the following procedure that I needed on one of my teeth. The procedure was that he would take off the cover of a filling, that had presented with a small hole. He would take this off, have a look underneath the filling to see the condition of the tooth inside and once ok, refill the tooth. He said at first that he was going to do the first part of the procedure without numbing my mouth, but if there needed to be work done in the tooth, then he would numb my mouth. I gave him the benefit of the doubt, everyone has to learn and start somewhere. Luckily for me there was no work to be done other than re-cover the tooth. I did not feel any pain or discomfort. Dentist’s are not everybody’s favourite place to be, but they all do a sterling job. Not only working on teeth but dentifying any other problems that may be detected within or surrounding the mouth. Both of them are very professional in their work but also have a good sense of humour that put me at ease. People are all too quick to complain but I would like to pay a compliment where it is due.
