I have been with this practice for over 10 years now after originally going there for a tooth taking out which I was very pleased with. The dentist who did this retired soon after so was transferred to another one. I have only had check-ups since until this year. On a check up early this year I informed the dentist of a problem I was having and he offered me some perio treatment and believe I was told it may take up to 3 visits to resolve the problem. After the next visit when the work was carried out I was advised to come back 3 months later. I assumed this was to be a follow up appointment to check if it was successful or if necessary to carry on with the treatment. On returning I was told this was then just for a check-up and was expected to pay for this. I complained but basically he didn't want to know. So at the end of the day I had paid over £59 for nothing. I went back a few weeks ago as I was suffering from toothache. Was given an appointment the next day which resulted in a fillng.A further cost of £59. Over 2 weeks later I was still in pain so returned. As I had now paid almost £120 for 2 courses of treatment that had both failed I asked if I could see the other dentist at the practice. This request was refused. The best I could get was a further appointment with the same dentist in 10 days time. Very disappointed to say the least. Would not recommend this practice but as it is extremely difficult to find an alternative without travelling unsuitable distances there is no alternative.
